Interface Fluidics is an oilfield laboratory services company. With Interface's nanotechnology platform, it is now possible to economically optimize fluids on a well by well basis.
Interface Fluidics was founded in 2015 and has expanded across the major plays in North America and some offshore applications. We are the only company offering the full integration of reservoir analogue design, analogue fabrication, testing at reservoir conditions, and expert data analysis.

Mr. Kinnear provides leadership in developing and managing strategic initiatives. He is passionate about leveraging information and data to increase efficiencies in oil production.
With over a decade leading teams in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Kinnear brings an extensive background in business intelligence, supply management, and contract negotiations. He holds a Masters of Business Administration with a specialization in International Business and a Bachelors Degree of Music Performance from the University of Victoria.
Tom de Haas
Mr. de Haas leads operations and the development of Interface?s automated nanotechnology platform. He is a pioneer in oilfield nanofluidics and continues to successfully achieve new limits on the platforms? capabilities for oil and gas applications.
Mr. de Haas brings practical experience having worked at a large operator, developing and applying new technologies to improve business outcomes across steam extraction processes, piping, and pressure vessel design. He earned a Masters of Applied Science specializing in microfluidics for energy applications from the University of Toronto and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
Dr. David Sinton
Dr. Sinton provides visionary direction and expertise to Interface?s technical development and training processes. He is an international thought leader with over 170 papers published.
Dr. Sinton continues to hold his positions as a Professor, the Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Microfluidics and Energy, and the Associate Chair of Research in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, a Masters of Engineering from McGill University, and a Bachelors Degree in Science from the University of Toronto.
Ms. Boyle leads sales and marketing, with a focus on delivering value to Interfaces partners. She has a proven track record of commercializing novel technologies in global energy markets.
A central theme to her career has been applying new technologies to improve efficiencies in the oil and gas industry. Ms. Boyle holds a Masters in Business Administration specializing in Global Energy Management and Sustainable Development and a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary.
Dr. Ali Abedini
Dr. Abedini leads the execution and project management of technical operations. He has authored more than 40 journal articles and conference papers, having furthered the development of the field of oilfield nanofluidics.
Dr. Abedini has a diverse background that spans petroleum engineering, reservoir characterization, and nanofluidic research and development. He is a subject matter expert on phase behaviour, enhanced oil recovery, thermal-solvent bitumen extraction, and shale/tight oil development. He holds a PhD in Petroleum Systems Engineering from the University of Regina, a Masters of Science in Reservoir Engineering, and a Bachelors of Science in Petroleum Engineering from PUT.
